Forrest Media updates Glasgow site

GLASGOW - Scottish outdoor contractor Forrest Media has completed the £1m upgrade of its CityScreen in Glasgow, using state-of-the-art LED technology.

The screen now matches the quality of the company's Manchester site, which was launched in December last year.
Marc Keenan, managing director of Forrest Media, said the screen they have replaced would be used abroad.

"To preserve our reputation as the UK's strongest ‘non-major' we are prepared to spend heavily to keep our products at the forefront and this latest investment is testament to that," he said.
"The old adage about location, location remains true in outdoor, but if you can enhance the offering with new technology and presentation then you've got to."
The new LED technology is able to take a wider range of creative formats than previously on offer.
As well as the standard two week outdoor campaigns the CityScreen network offers live updates, copy changes or static advertising and is able to convert TV-style adverts, static six-sheet or 48 sheet copy to play on the sites.
