Giant site specialist has new sales chief

LONDON - Outdoor contractor Ad-Air, which specialises in giant advertising sites seen from the air, has appointed Mark Hockney as its new global head of sales.

Hockney, previously sponsorship manager for sales house Media Initiatives, will head up Ad-Air’s sales across the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

At the same time, Greg Forster, managing director of Embrace Media and former board-level director at Clear Channel Outdoor, has been hired as a consultant to raise Ad-Air’s profile among planners and advertisers. The two appointments come less than two months after Ad-Air installed Andrew Ward as its new chief executive.

Ad-Air places 20,000sqm adverts flat on the ground alongside the flight paths at international airports, targeting passengers in their seats.
