LONDON - CBS Outdoor has appointed four business directors in its regional offices, following last year's restructure of its sales teams in the regions.

Phil Parkinson has been promoted to the position for the North West area, where the company runs advertising contracts on all buses, as well as Northern Rail, MerseyRail and Manchester Metrolink. His remit is to broaden all revenue streams across the market while building on the team that looks after outdoor agencies outside London.

John Ainley has been made business director for Yorkshire and will be responsible for increasing revenue and market share from clients and advertising agencies throughout the county. He will work on promoting the GNER and Transpennine Express and Bus contracts.
Phil Rapley, who previously managed the London client team, will now fill this role in the South East.
The company has made one new hire in Kirsty Sullivan, who will take charge of the West and Wales regions. She joins CBS from Emap Radio, where she was sales director for Vibe.
CBS is now planning to make further business director appointments in Scotland.
