Kinetic cuts back Northern presence

Outdoor agency Kinetic has closed its regional sales office in Harrogate and has made two of the three team members redundant.

The remaining member of staff will join Kinetic’s Manchester sales team, which, in turn, is moving to a new flagship office in Castle Key.


The combined team, which is looking to recruit three more staff, will be led by Annie Lavis, regional director for Kinetic North.

Two members of staff from Harrogate, including Colleen Harte, the planner who headed it, have accepted redundancy pay because they were “unable to make the move for personal reasons”.

Richard Blackburn, UK regional director, said the two separate Northern divisions remained from a period when Kinetic was made up of Poster Publicity and Portland before the two companies merged to create Kinetic two-and-a-half years ago.

Kinetic’s administration and financial departments will continue to be run from its Harrogate office.
