Citybox expands malls presence

LONDON - Mall advertising company Citybox has launched an initiative that offers ad sites on recycling bins within shopping centres.

The outfit is preparing to install the units in Milton Keynes’ shopping mall. Centre MK is the latest centre to adopt Citybox’s concept, which allows shoppers to recycle plastics, cans, packaging and paper separately. With a fortnightly footfall of 1.2million the concept gives advertisers the opportunity to reach a significant number of people.

Citybox, which has a portfolio of 130 shopping centres in the UK, will install 88 units in Centre MK with a total of 264 advertising panels.

The company has been operating in the UK for two years and reaches more than 48 million shoppers a fortnight with its ad sites.

Festival Place in Basingstoke, The Liberty in Romford and the new Westfield centre in Derby have also opted for Citybox recycling units.
